#5 is, “Defeat those who seek to persecute us.” So far, #1,2 & 3 have been good also. #4 we will have to see. #5 has had surprising results.

The prayer was on 10/14/2023 and so far two major anti-Gay figures in Texas are not able to persecute us anymore.
Bryan Dunagan became pastor when a conservative faction took over Hghland Park Presbyteran Church. He ded at age 44. This was a big megachurch with major local influence.
If you think I am being too much of a meanie, remember this is the stuff local Christians are pushing in Dallas.
However, Bishop Strickland was a major national figure in the opposition to LGBT in the world Catholic Church.

Pope Francis was trying to de-emphasis persecuting Gays and work towards tolerating LGBT. This wasn’t entirely disinterested. The Roman Catholic church faces persecution world wide and it is hard to appeal on the basis of human rights when you are a human rights problem yourself.
Also, in the Western world, Christianity is declining rapidly, basically it is in free fall. For the Roman Catholic church the priesthood is in final stages of collapse as the number of men choosing to be priests has declined about 90% and the average age of a priest is in the 60s. People aren’t really interested in joining a church focused on hating Gays, and those who do, will join Evangelical Protestant Churches who serve their homophobia without dilution.
Finally, the positions of Pope Francis are somewhat superficial. There has been no apologies for anti-Gay statements where anti-Gay statements are popular, such as in Africa. He still sees homosexuality as a sin, just doesn’t want to have homosexuals put in jail over it. [I have a link at the very end of this post about how superficial Pope Francis’ statement was.]
However, for the homophobic wing of the Catholic church, anything deviated from full out hostility to LGBT is an anathma.

Have no idea who the 3rd anti-Gay leader might be.
Also, it could easily be that there was a variety of social forces and rational events resulting in the elimination of two major anti-Gay figures.
